Abstract

Digitalization is transforming legal systems globally, impacting jurisdictions such as Spain, Mexico and Colombia. Ecuador faces challenges due to the lack of specific regulations and training in the use of notarial technologies. This research analyzes the legal and theoretical problems of technological adaptation in Ecuadorian notarial law, analyzing its positive and negative effects, and the barriers faced, through comparative law. The main objective is to develop a neutrosophic method for the evaluation of the impact of the digital age on notarial law. Cryptography and digital signatures are crucial for data protection, but technological ignorance generates concern. Notarial digitalization streamlines processes and reduces costs, but the absence of adequate legislation in Ecuador and Latin America puts the security of citizen information at risk.
